Little Rock Zoo

The little rock zoo is considered one of Arkansas’s esteemed treasures. The zoo itself was established in 1926 and started with only two animals. The two animals were a circus-trained brown bear and an abandoned timber wolf.

The little rock zoo that we have today serves as an inspiration enabling them to conserve and value the natural world. The little rock zoo currently has over 500 animals, and more than 200 species are on the endangered list. The zoo is considered one of the state’s greatest educational conversation centers.
